Stan the Man Blend
Balanced, approachable, and great day after day
St. Louis is synonymous with baseball, and St. Louis baseball is synonymous with the legend that is Stan Musial. In this special collaboration with Stan the Man, Inc., we've crafted a blend that serves as an ode to his greatness and body of work, all while giving back to a cause that he was passionate about.
Stan the Man Blend is made of coffees from South and Central America that abound in rich cocoa and sugars. We roasted them a little deeper to hit a flavor profile that matched one of Stan's favorite snacks, a certain cream-filled chocolate covered cake pastry.
The result is a coffee blend that we hope lives up to Stan's extraordinary balance and consistency. It's sweet and pleasant, approachable and flexible. Make it hot, make it cold, use it as espresso, and more - no matter what, it will hit.
GIVES BACK TO THE ST. LOUIS AREA FOODBANK
Stan was also very passionate about charity and cared deeply about stamping out hunger. Each bag of Stan the Man sold has a portion of proceeds go back to the St. Louis Area Foodbank, who helps respond to hunger in communities across 26 counties in Missouri and Illinois by distributing food to hundreds of thousands of people each year.

We offer three different grind sizes on the vast majority of our coffee offerings: drip, espresso, and French press.
- Use drip grind if you plan on making your coffee using a coffee machine, in a pour over brewer, or if you want to try a newer way to make your trusty French press.
- Use espresso grind if you have an espresso machine at home. This grind will be very fine and will over-extract (in other words, taste bitter and chalky) in other methods.
- Use French press grind if you are making a coffee in the more traditional French Press method, or making cold brew, or do very large batches in a Chemex (greater than 60 grams of coffee).

Please visit our brewing page here. Coffee brewing is as much an art as it is a science, and it might take a few tries for you to find a sweet-spot that matches your taste preference. We recommend not getting too lost in the "right" way to brew, but instead focus on what you like and try to educate yourself on some best practices. And then just take it from there!
That said, we offer several how-to's for many popular brewers:
