The days have begun their slow march back toward spring, but we know the first few months can seem as dark as the shortest day itself. To help guide you through, we’re bringing you our favorite ways to focus on the sweet delights of a warm fire, winter spices, intoxicating aromas, and hearty snacks.
CARDAMOM & CINNAMON LATTE
Our champion of winters past returns to chase away the chill. The Cardamom & Cinnamon Latte, your perennial, seasonal favorite, combines the sweet delight of our house made cardamom and cinnamon simple syrup with espresso and a blanket of warm, steamed milk. You’ll recognize its familiar comfort and return to it over and over again.
OAT BAR
We know escaping to an island might be an ideal alternative to hibernating through the cold, but it’s not an option for most of us. Instead, we decided to bring a piece of the islands to the mainland, with a sun-inspired bar to brighten the season. A hearty breakfast on the go or reinforcement during the day, the Oat Bar is a mix of oats, walnuts, cranberries, and dates. It’s also made without any gluten ingredients and is vegan!
COMING BACK: PUMPKIN BREAD & SWEET POTATO WALNUT MUFFIN
You loved our Pumpkin Loaf and Sweet Potato Walnut Muffin so much last year, that we decided to keep baking them for you. Like the Oat Bar, the Sweet Potato Walnut Muffin is also made without gluten ingredients, and is vegan, and we’re sure that it will continue to satisfy as the winter months continue. A heady mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, sweet potato and banana make it the perfect companion for our latest creation, the Maple & Clove Latte.
MAPLE & CLOVE LATTE
Created as the perfect blend of sugar and spice, our Maple & Clove Latte might even make you love the cold, as you curl up with the best combination of the season. A house made maple and clove simple syrup pairs with our Espresso 700 and your choice of milk.
Update: This drink is no longer available.
RAISIN BRAN MUFFIN
Hibernation is the season when we tuck ourselves under blankets and brace against the cold, but it’s also a season for resolutions and finding comforting, yet healthy ways to make it through the winter. New to our January rollout this year is the Raisin Bran Muffin, which is hearty enough for the coldest morning, while providing a healthy choice alongside rich comforts.
ORANGE BLOSSOM BREAD
When the gusting bite of winter tears at your collar and you duck inside a doorway to escape that bitter sting, tug your collar high and remember the best ways to escape winter. The crisp pop of citrus in our Orange Blossom Bread below an indulgent dusting of powdered sugar can lighten your load, any time of day.
SPICED SNICKERDOODLE COOKIE
Curled up in your favorite chair, there’s nothing more reassuring than the wafting aroma of cookies baking in the oven. We’ve done all the hard work and made you our Spiced Snickerdoodle Cookies, and like all good cookies, they’re made even better by adding our own twist to the mix. Date, Goat Cheese, Walnut & Thyme Scone
When you follow the goat, you shouldn’t be surprised when the distinct pleasure of goat cheese appears. Our savory Date, Goat Cheese, Walnut & Thyme Scone mixes the creamy tang of goat cheese with the sweetness of dates and mild earthiness of baked walnuts. With a touch of thyme, they’re a sophisticated breakfast that fits in the palm of your hand.
LONDON FOG
Finally, the ultimate comfort drink, the London Fog Latte returns to wrap you in its velvety charms. A true winter treat, London Fogs are traditionally a combination of Earl Grey tea, vanilla simple syrup, and steamed milk. We make it uniquely for you, with our sister company Firepot’s Italian Grey tea working as a smooth stand-in for the Earl. Order one to experience the slight rush of mild caffeine and vanilla, wrapped in a warm layer of latte foam.
