WELCOME TO OUR CUPPING ROOM
We are thrilled to welcome you back to the Cupping Room Series with a new-to-us variety with a lot of name recognition from a longtime partnership.
The Pacas family has been managing Finca La Esperanza since November of 2010. Benefitting from an ideal climate, the farm now grows a range of special and unique lots, including Bernardina, Kenya, Heirloom (Ethiopian variety), Orange Bourbon, and this Moka variety. In 2022, the farm placed 7th in the El Salvador Cup of Excellence with its Bernardina. From its growth and recognition of high quality, the farm now provides 65 jobs.
This year, we selected the Moka variety from their offerings. Moka is well-known for its truly tiny bean size. But that small bean carries a lot of punch. We get a cup that truly anyone can appreciate for its quality. It has the essence of being familiar with its dark chocolate and graham tones, but also speaks loudly with its delicious fruity character. Fun to brew with plenty to explore, it's a classic Cupping Room Series release.
