WHY WE'RE RELEASING IT ONLINE

There are many Atlanta-area cafe customers that know this as our core house blend. Until now, the only place to purchase this blend in a Kaldi's Coffee bag was in Dancing Goats® cafes.

Developed a little longer than 700 and Cafe Kaldi, we believe Dancing Goats® Blend fills a unique and easy-to-love niche alongside our other staple blends.

THE DETAILS OF DANCING GOATS

This bold and toasty blend is dark, smooth, and sweet with a beautiful aroma. Exceptionally clean and balanced acidity accompanies a heavy body and pronounced nuttiness reminiscent of almonds. The sweetness is predominantly chocolate but includes hints of caramel. The flavor of fresh citrus fruits emerges from beneath the sweet spice notes in the finish.

In the cup, you'll get a bold flavor with a really strong, inviting aroma. Heavy-bodied and sweet, we taste chocolate, sweet spice, and cherry.

HOW IT GOT ITS NAME

This historic signature blend is named for the goats that, according to legend, discovered the power of coffee. It has been served to passionate specialty coffee fans far and wide since 1988.

Kaldi's Coffee is named after the goatherd that discovered coffee, and this blend is named for his goats. It's a match made in coffee-discovery heaven.

WELCOME TO THE HOUSE BLEND ROSTER

Dancing Goats® Blend perfectly complements our classic house blend, Cafe Kaldi, and our house espresso roast, 700.

This is a medium-dark roast, meaning it's a tad more developed than our other core blends, 700 and Cafe Kaldi. Where Cafe Kaldi gives a little bit more acidity from its African component and 700 provides candy-bar-in-a-cup sweetness, Dancing Goats® Blend hits with a little more roast and spice. It tastes just as great as espresso as it does on drip.
