Our New Drinks and Pastries make your Moments that Matter even Brighter - Coming November 13th

‘Tis the season to gather with good friends, trade the holiday rush for a cozy cafe, to give yourself an extra hour alone, and to make meaningful time for others. It can be a magical time - no matter how you spend the festive season, it’s sure to be packed with moments that matter.

The camera looks directly down at a set table, red tablecloth, full of scones, cookies, and muffins. Three hands reach into the frame from the left, top, and bottom, to grab an item.

As our new drinks and pastries arrive for the season on November 13th, I know we’ll share some great moments with you. Whether you swing by to pick up your app order or stop in with a group to spend some time together, our team will be ready with a fresh brew of ‘Tis the Season and warm pastries waiting.

The Brown Sugar Rosemary Latte

A close up of an ornate glass mug, textured with bumps, filled to the brim with a latte. A classic, leafy rosetta is visible on top of the latte, a muffin blurry in the background.

Your moments matter, so I’ll get straight to the headline: the Brown Sugar Rosemary Latte returns, filling our cafes with the heady aroma of its house made syrup. We prepare this syrup in our kitchens, simmering brown sugar, vanilla, and real rosemary sprigs - and if you love the flavors as much as we do, I wrote a few recipes so you can prepare it in your kitchen.

A cocktail shaker pours brown liquid into a glass, full of ice. A stalk of rosemary sits beside the glass on a gray countertop, with a black background.

Start with the base Brown Sugar Rosemary Simple Syrup Recipe to get those core flavors and then create cocktails like the Brown Sugar Rosemary Old Fashioned or go full barista with our Cold Brew Concentrate and recreate the Hot Brown Sugar Rosemary Latte at home.

The Cardamom Croissant Bun

A brown bun with rock sugar sits on a plate, on a white surface, as blurry lights appear as orbs in the background.

Next up, our Cardamom Croissant Bun returns. I called it “out of this world delectable” when it was created, and it’s clear you agree. This cardamom infused, buttered-sugar croissant flew out of our bakery at an incredible clip. Apparently you shared my difficulty in resisting just how good it tastes!

The Apple Butter Chai Latte

A close up of a top-down drink. A gold handled white mug is filled with a reddish brown milk, dusted with cinnamon powder, and garnished with a small, thin, apple slice.

What’s new this season? I’m excited for each and every chilly morning I can sit down with a book at DeMun and wrap my hands around our new Apple Butter Chai Latte. Our baristas use real apple butter, simmer it with water, nutmeg, and cinnamon, then strain and steam it with Firepot Tea's chai concentrate and your milk choice to create a warm combination of chai spice and apple sweetness.

A mug sits on the edge of a marble table, filled to the brim with an Apple Butter Chai. The drink is 75% topped with cinnamon powder and a dried apple slice garnishes it.

This creamy mix of soft sweetness and classic chai spice makes it my top choice to try this season.

The Ginger Pear Muffin

An angled view of a place setting, gold and white, with a pink plate on a white plate. The pink plate holds a brown muffin, dusted with powdered sugar. Two pears, one green, one brown, rest against each other above the plate.

The Ginger Pear Muffin tastes molasses-sweet with the slight citrus of pear coming through subtly, making it my choice for a gentle breakfast option. This muffin is made without gluten ingredients and pairs perfectly with a cup of ‘Tis the Season or a traditional latte.

Red Velvet Cookies

A hand reaches for a red velvet cookie, one of two, which sit on a cutting board atop a red tablecloth. A latte with art also rests on the table.

If you leave a plate of our Red Velvet Cookies out this season, don’t expect them to last long enough for Santa to enjoy them. Soft and cocoa-rich, these cookies have a thin crisp and are dusted with powdered sugar each morning before they disappear from our bakery cases.

The Peppermint Hot Chocolate

The camera looks over the shoulder of a white woman with brown hair, blurry as she lifts a white and red mug to her lips. The mug is in focus and has a heap of whipped cream, covered in crushed peppermint candies.

I could lie to you and tell you this drink’s for the kids, but who doesn’t love a Peppermint Hot Chocolate? Of course, you could always add espresso to transform it into a mocha, but I love this drink when the wind is biting and I’m meeting friends for coffee and caffeine’s off the menu. I’ll keep you on the nice list if you agree.

The Smoked Paprika Cheddar Scone

Another over the should view of a white woman with brown hair. Her right arm extends out, into focus, as it holds a gold knife poised over an orangish cheddar covered scone on a plate on a red tablecloth.

Finally, for a savory breakfast on the go, our Smoked Paprika Cheddar Scones are a bold, smokey way to start the day. Packed with sharp cheddar, smoked paprika, and spices like garlic, onion, and black pepper, they’re a rich, buttery scone that stands out from the crowd.

No matter how you spend the festive season, it’s sure to be packed with moments that matter. I hope we can be a small part of making the season a little brighter, the smiles a little wider, and the moments a little sweeter.
