In the region along the Andes Mountain Range, six small scale coffee growers with a particular vision on coffee production have dedicated themselves to producing a unique profile that will capture the attention of anyone who tastes it.
Very close to this region, near the Bellavista Nature Reserve, also known as the Cloud Forest Reserve, there is a very famous guesthouse named Alambi. People come here from all over the world to enjoy the view of dozens of hummingbirds in the small garden.
Alambi means water and was given to this place (the garden and the coffee) due to the numerous water sources that can be found in the surrounding area.
Ecuador is not known for using the dry processing method and we were incredibly pleased with the results in the cup. This, mixed in with the prized Sidra variety amongst its Bourbon and Typica counterparts, resulted in a bright yet balanced fruitiness and incredible sweetness. As a limited-release coffee, we are very excited to have this on our menu at last. Enjoy!
