We’re looking for a Junior Designer and Social Media Specialist to join our growing team in St. Louis, MO. - Role is comprised of roughly ~70% social media work and ~30% design work

Based in St. Louis, MO, and excited to travel to Atlanta 6–10 times per year to support marketing activations and café initiatives.

1–3 years of experience in graphic design, social media management, or content creation (agency, in-house, or freelance).

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); also comfortable with Canva and simple video editing (or very eager to learn)

Skilled with social media management tools (ex: Later) and platform insights. Adept at reviewing and reporting metrics.

A strong writer with a knack for short-form content and on-brand tone of voice.

What You’ll Do
Social Media & Content Creation (roughly 70% of the work)

Develop, create, and schedule engaging, on-brand content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other channels for multiple brands (Kaldi’s Coffee, Dancing Goats Coffee, Firepot Tea)

Collaborate with the Director of Marketing, Director of Content, Videographer, Event Organizers, and Senior Designers to bring campaigns, product rollouts, and promotions to life.

Engage thoughtfully with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and tags in a warm, on-brand voice.

Track and report on social media performance and provide actionable insights and ideas.

Stay current on social and design trends, proposing fresh content ideas that resonate with new and existing audiences.

Keep an eye out for events and happenings across our brands, and look for ways to create compelling posts that excite and engage.
Design & Marketing Support

Assist with design needs across departments and cafés, including:

Café signage (new locations, limited offerings, seasonal promotions)

Internal print collateral

Simple email newsletters and digital assets

Deliver quick-turn, on-brand graphics while working from established design systems.

Support marketing campaigns that showcase our brand story, customer experience, and commitment to quality.

Utilize programs such as Canva to quickly create on-brand graphics under the review of our Brand Designers.
