This is the first lot we are offering this year from the Pacas family in El Salvador. This particular coffee comes from their El Talapo farm. The farm is named after the Talapo, a native bird that lives in the area and is closely related to the Salvadorian national bird, El Torogoz. Talapo is located on the western side of the Santa Ana volcano and to the north of Izalco. The altitude ranges from 1250-1350 meters above sea level and the lot consists of Bourbon and Pacas Varieties.
This will be our first year offering coffee from Talapo and our 4th consecutive year of buying from the Pacas family. We are proud to have such dedicated producers as the Pacas.
